TRICOLORE
This was the Official Match Ball of the FIFA World Cup™ 1998 in France.
DISCOVER
The Tricolore was the first ever multi-colored World Cup match ball. The French flag and national colors inspired the ball’s name and design- red, white and blue and was the last match ball in the iconic Tango design.
It featured a syntactic foam layer - a tight regular matrix, composed of gas-filled, individually closed and highly durable micro balloons, which further improved its durability and made it more responsive.
HIGHLIGHTS
Integrated into the surface, these microbeads allow the ball to regain its original shape immediately after it is kicked, thus ensuring a completely consistent flight path. This makes the ball faster, and the flight path even more precise and calculable.
