The Tricolore was the first ever multi-colored World Cup match ball. The French flag and national colors inspired the ball’s name and design- red, white and blue and was the last match ball in the iconic Tango design. It featured a syntactic foam layer - a tight regular matrix, composed of gas-filled, individually closed and highly durable micro balloons, which further improved its durability and made it more responsive.
